This work was exhibited as part of the group show “A Wicked Problem”. EFA Project Space in New York invited artists to send proposals for a utopian curated show, and share their wildest dreams. My proposal was to create a gallery show in which the audience rides a high-speed roller coaster, such that it is impossible to see the artwork, and everything becomes abstract. In the show, the audience could watch a new work by Damien Hirst titled “The Tail”, as well as artworks by Constantin Brancusi and Oree Holban.
Despite the high-speed, the audience managed to stay equanimous and harmonious. While some got stuck "in the loop", trying to climb to the top/peak of the ride, some managed to reach Brancusi's "Tunnel of Love", and just like the lovers, melted and kissed in the dark.
