A spaceship has crashed from the land of in-between and the space cowboy who survived performs lip-synch to their own recorded voice singing “Lonely Saturday Night” by Don French. The work was made in co-operation with video artist Abigail Sarnat. Among the elements in the installation: a neon sign, plasticine sculptures, video screenings on both of the main wall and on a small monitor on the floor. The video portrayed unfocused running titles like at the end of a film, and a video clip for the song – all created by Abigail Sarnat. At the closing event of the exhibition, the fixed playback gave way to live music- both cover and original songs, revealing a somewhat more intimate interpretation of the concept of being in “Limbo”.
