Conjuration of Summer Dance Party

The show was part of a Berlin-based monthly series of exhibitions called “Guided Tours”; a crowd was led by the curators from a local bar on the street into the basement of a building, through a long underground corridor. At the basement was an attempt to raise ghosts from the past, specifically the spirit of Buddy Holly. Constantly switching between the different categories or characters on the Ouija board, it was a near-impossible mission to conjure up a coherent identity. Since the viewers came in one group at a time – the show was repeated 5 times that night, 30 minutes per performance.
